This class is a continuation of beginner level ballet. Students will be introduced to basic barre work, center exercises, and across-the-floor movement. This class focuses on terminology, positions and nurturing a strong foundation for future ballet technique.
Ballet II: 60 minutes
Age 10-14 or 2 years prior experience

This is an intermediate ballet class focused on strengthening technique, poise, and building upon perviously learned skills. Class consists of barre work, across-the-floor and center floor exercises.
Ballet III/Pre-Pointe: 60 minutes 2 days per week
Age 12-18 or 5 years prior experience

This is an advanced level ballet class, building upon previously learned skills and preparing for Pre-Pointe/beginner Pointe work. Students focuse on building technique and training of the feet and body. Class consists of advanced barre work, across-the-floor and center exercises.
Pointe I: 1 hour and 45 minutes 2 days per week
Age 12-18 with teacher recommendation

This class is a beginner/intermediate level of Pointe. Only students that have obtained the skills and training previously and have at least 3 years ballet experience are allowed to participate. Strengthening of the feet and control of the body are the primary focus. This class is combined with the Ballet III class for the first hour with the remaining 45 minutes dedicated to Pre-Pointe and Pointe work.
Jazz
Jazz I: 45 minutes
Age 6-9 years

This is a beginner level class that offers basic technique. Students focus on turns, leaps, memorization and rhythm. Students will also learn simple combinations in an effort to strengthen their memorization and dancing skills.
Jazz II: 60 minutes
Age 10-14 years
Tuition: $50 per month

This is an intermediate class; a continuation of our Jazz I class that will build on students' previously learned skills and technique. Students will focus on strengthening and conditioning while improving their turns and leaps with across-the-floor exercises and center floor combinations.
Jazz III: 60 minutes
Ages 12-18 (experience required)

This is an advanced class that will be a challenge for even the most experienced dancers. Students will focus on double-pirouettes and a variety of leaps and jumps. Technical-based and fast-paced cominations will be taught in this class.
Lyrical
Lyrical I: 45 minutes

This is a beginner level class to support technique and introduce fluidity of movements. Lyrical dance displays an interpretation of lyrics, emotion and content of the music; it encorporates ballet, jazz and contemporary technical skills.

This is an advanced contemporary class incorporating lyrical and jazz movement, fused with modern elements. It is a technical-based, challenging class that will give students the experience necessary to gain focus and improve their skills.
Hip-hop
Hip-hop I: 45 minutes
Age 5-8 years

This is a high-energy beginner level class that will develop basic hip-hop skills. This class includes an upbeat warm-up followed by fun movements across-the-floor and combinations that will increase memorization, rhythm recognition and performance skills.
Hip-hop II: 45 minutes
Ages 9-12 years

Miss Timbre
This is an intermediate hip-hop class that will further develop students' hip-hop skills. This class includes an upbeat warm-up followed by across-the-floor exercises and high energy combinations that will support memorization and performance skills.
Hip-hop III: 45 minutes
Ages 13-18 years

Miss Timbre
This is an advanced hip-hop class; building on experience and rhythm. Students will participate in sharp, fast movements mixed with high energy music and complex combinations.
Clogging
Clog I "Starts": 30 minutes
Ages (minimum 6 years old)

This is an entry level class. Students will learn basic clogging steps as well as how to connect steps, patterns and rhythms. This class is for students 6 years and older or who have limited or no clogging experience.
Clog II "Sugar Feet": 30 minutes

This class is for elementary aged students who have danced for at least two years or at the teacher's discretion. Students learn more complicated steps at the beginner's level. Besides being required to have basic steps in place students will learn more involved steps with longer beat counts. More emphasis is placed on formation changes, stage movement, and stage presence.
Clog III "Sparks": 45 minutes

This class is geared for older elementary aged students who have danced for 3 years or at my discretion. Large group formations, beginning intermediate steps, entry into Candadian style steps, syncopated footwork and more complicated stage formations are just some of the things students will learn in this class. This group also performs at public events as well as dance competitions. They have brought home many competition awards and have danced at the annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering.
Clog IV "Steppers": 45 minutes

This is an invitation only group consisting of middle school aged students with at least 4 years of clogging experience. Emphasis with this class is on syncopated steps, speed, stage performance and presence, as well as competition readiness. This group has won many competition high level awards. Intermediate level.
Clog VI "Stompers": 45 minutes

These dancers have been together since 2006. Focus in this group is speed, more complicated step work, formations, performance and competition readiness. This group has won many competition awards and high praise from audiences around Elko. They have performed during Cowboy Poetry and with the local symphony orchestra.
Clog VII "Summit Cloggers": 45 minutes

New members at teacher's discretion. High school aged or older dancers with 6 or more years dance experience. Focus is on advanced footwork, performance and competition readiness. Steps are at a high ability level: syncopated steps, speed, complicated formations and stage work. This group has won many awards and high praise at competitions and event performances such as Cowboy Poetry and with the Ruby Mountain Symphony.
